Aéroport de Lyon
As a major international gateway welcoming more than 10 million passengers each year, Lyon Airport sought to redefine the passenger experience by creating a digital art gallery at the heart of its terminals. The ambition was to transform the airport into a living cultural space, capable of reconnecting travelers to the present moment, even within the fast-paced environment of travel.
Artpoint responded to this ambition by conceiving a curatorial approach specifically designed for the airport environment, where art becomes a point of connection through a carefully curated selection of digital artworks. The gallery follows the cadence of the year and the flow of passengers, offering exhibitions that echo shared human experiences and contemporary themes. The objective was to offer meaningful artistic experiences that resonate universally, while reflecting essential themes such as nature, travel, innovation, and inclusion. In this context, digital art opens spaces of reflection, where art unfolds within everyday spaces, effectively transforming Lyon Airport into a cultural landmark where technology amplifies sensitivity.
