Bouygues Telecom
To mark its 30th anniversary, Bouygues Telecom sought to celebrate its history through a participatory and unifying work of art, conceived as a vibrant tribute to its employees. The goal of this custom commission was to tell the story not only of the evolution of a cutting-edge technological network, but above all of the human journey and the deep bonds that make it possible every day. By placing the strength of the collective, connectivity, and the company’s regional roots, through its various campuses and hubs, at the heart of the narrative, Bouygues Telecom reaffirms its fundamental mission: to put technological innovation at the service of human relationships and connections.
Artpoint commissioned artist Luke Conroy to create a digital collage video, a medium in which the assembly of thousands of visual fragments directly echoes the very concept of a network. Built from historical archives of Bouygues Telecom and enriched by visual contributions from the teams, capturing their routines, shared moments, and regional symbols from the nine French and Portuguese campuses, the work unfolds as a sensory journey through time and space. The film unfolds as a narrative journey, opening with a profusion of images centered on the Technopole and the connected infrastructure, the true symbolic heart of the network. The work then expands to offer an immersion into the heart of the regions and local offices, where regional characteristics intertwine and interact to shape a shared vision. The video highlights people as the center of innovation, repositioning technology in the service of connection. By connecting the past and the present in this way, this unique creation transcends a simple retrospective of 30 years of collective history to open an inspiring window onto the future, celebrating a sustainable, deeply human, and collaboratively built technological future.
