Noe Alonzo (Noealz) is a digital artist and photographer based in Seoul, South Korea. He has been taking photographs as a child, and started taking photos with disposable cameras until he was old enough to afford a proper camera. He was an elementary school teacher for 14 years in the daytime while spending his evenings out photographing and editing his images. While he mostly focuses on photographing in the rain and snow at night, he also enjoys infrared photography during the daytime. His goal is to photograph the major cities around the world and visit the people who appreciate and collect his works.
Noe creates surreal digital artworks through photographic means. His stunning pieces have been exhibited in various art shows, galleries, and National Museums; his content frequently appears in print and on-air media outlets. Today, he is best known for his neon-noir, infrared, and anime-style photography.

Shinjuku ward, vibrant with nightlife and crowds, has been missing its visitors since the pandemic began. The bars lay empty, the businesses shut down, and the once all-popular destination has slowly been claimed away from the tourists.
It has been a struggle for the locals, entangled in a love/hate relationship with visitors. Breaking the laws and traditions of their beloved nation. But they bring so much money. Japan is set to open its borders once again. Once again, these streets will run wild with lights and fights, excess and wonder.
Inspiration for my art comes from science fiction movies such as Bladerunner or Akira. I am pleased with the color palettes and neon lights that appear. If I take a photo, I feel that the view is not very common and I hope that people will feel transported to the location. I want people to feel as if they were there with me when I took the picture, which is why I like to include ambient sounds from the area as well.
