<p>Boris Seewald is a Berlin-based video director whose work approaches moving image as a form of visual choreography, arranging images rhythmically in dialogue with music and sound. Drawn to experimental and unconventional approaches, he combines abstract animation, mixed media, and live-action footage, developing films shaped by a strong post-production sensibility. Following a decade working in post-production as an editor and animator, his multidisciplinary practice reflects a director’s perspective rooted in editing and image manipulation.<br><br>Honoured with awards including the Cinedans Dioraphte Jury Award and a Promax Gold Award, and nominated for the Deutsche Kamerapreis, Seewald has developed a body of films recognised for their visual precision and musicality. He has collaborated with musicians such as Ralf Hildenbeutel, Francesco Tristano, Sebastian Plano, Alica Sara Ott, and Nemanja Radulovic, and worked with institutions and brands including Adobe, Deutsche Grammophon, Universal Music, Warner Music, Konzerthaus Berlin, Berliner Philharmoniker, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Opéra National de Paris, Berlinische Galerie, and Arte, among others.</p>

What are the tax advantages of creating a work of art?

Of course! As a client, you have access to a dedicated account on our platform, and are guided through the creation of your playlists.

Can I choose my artwork?

This type of project can be deployed either for a one-time event or on a long-term basis. If it is set up for an event, the artwork will of course be yours after the event!

Is it for a one-off event or for the long term?

Do I own the artwork once it's been created?

The possibilities are endless. Artpoint will work with you to develop the project that suits you best. The work can take a digital form and be distributed via screens, your internal networks or your social networks, for example. The work can also take a physical form (printed format of the work or digital sculpture) and even combine tangibility and intangibility. Together, we will define the scope of the project, its final form and the best way to display it.

Is the artwork digital, physical or both?

Artpoint is committed to meeting every type of budget and need. The proposed rates vary according to the artist commissioned, the technical nature of the work, the technical equipment used, the timeline and the intellectual property rights to the work. How much does it cost to create a work of art?

We'll help you find the techniques and inspirations that are the perfect match for your project from a network of over 500 artists, from all over the world. After an initial screening, we will present you with several artistic proposals, created especially for you. Then, you will be able to select the artist of your choice!

Can I choose the artist to create the artwork?

This depends on the artist and their schedule, as well as the complexity of the artwork. On average, it takes about 3 months from the initial brief to the delivery of the final project.

How long does it take to create an artwork?

Yes! We analyze your brand DNA, the atmosphere of your spaces, and your audience, and work with you to design 100% customized exhibition programs. Our expertise is to introduce you to artists who share your values, and who are thus able to amplify your public communications.

Do you offer a curation service?

Yes, of course! Our ambition is to amplify your brand communication by presenting and exhibiting artists that share your values. Each proposal can be co-created with you, and adapted to your needs.

Can I customize an art installation to match our brand or event theme?

The artworks are broadcast and updated through a player and a content management solution with cloud access.

How are the artworks distributed on screens?

Yes, we already exhibit in 5 continents, so we can envision exhibitions for all your international locations. It's an excellent way of forging links between geographically distant teams, and offering the same level of service.

Are you able to deploy internationally?

Yes, the system can be connected via either an Ethernet (RJ45) cable or Wifi.

Do I need Internet access to distribute the artworks?

We can provide artistic experiences for both temporary and permanent use. For permanent acquisitions, we provide maintenance when needed.

Is it essentially a temporary artwork, or can I buy it permanently?

Yes of course ! These artworks do not intend to replace your existing content. On the contrary, it helps you drive attention to it by creating a sense of novelty, renewal, by displaying the artwork in between your communication content.

Can I still show my own content on my screen?

We can offer you several packages, with our flagship offer being ten artworks per month.

How many artworks can I exhibit?

The blockchain is a decentralised, permanent, transparent and publicly accessible ledger of data, that records crypto transactions, including those of NFTs. Blockchain technology rests on the principles of transparency, immutability and they are permissionless, which means that they are strengthened and secured by the number of people and data that are accumulated. There is therefore no need for a central body to authenticate the information displayed.

What is the blockchain?

Given the specific nature of the NFT involved in the transaction, which requires instant execution, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. Therefore, no refunds are possible. All NFT purchases are final. All purchases and associated fees are non-refundable.

Can I cancel my purchase?

Artists are still the owners of the Intellectual Property on their artworks but collectors detain the rights of usage of the work in private spaces and on social media.

Who owns the copyright to my NFT?

‘Gas fees’ refer to an amount that must be paid each time a transaction or transfer is conducted on the blockchain. These fees are paid directly to Ethereum miners who validate transactions on the blockchain and make them possible. Gas fees vary in price throughout the day, depending on the volume of activity currently being effectuated on the chain - so don’t be surprised if you see the fee amount changing! NFT platforms, including ARTPOINT, do not profit from or receive any of these fees.

If you want to buy an NFT, click on collect now and then connect your metamask waller. Make sure you sign the contract and have sufficient funds.

How do I buy with Metamask?

You may sell your NFT on any marketplace that complies with the NFT's technological standard (ETH standard) and the included Metadata such as the License and Artist identification. Following such a sale or transfer, you will cease to have any further rights to that NFT.

How can I resell my NFT?

A crypto wallet is a software on your computer or phone that allows for the sale and storage of cryptocurrencies, which are most commonly used to acquire NFTs. There are multiple cryptowallets available, but MetaMask and WalletConnect are two of the main applications that people use to create their wallets.

What is a wallet?

A NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique digital asset, protected and authenticated on the blockchain. NFTs are non-interchangeable and non-modifiable units of data stored on the blockchain that can be sold or transferred to other people. This technology allows for a transparent vision on who owns the digital asset, and what the provenance or previous sales and transactions of the asset are.

What is an NFT?

As a collector, you are granted a licence limited to your personal and non-commercial use. This license allows you to have the following rights: access, use and display of the work on his social networks access, use and display of the work on the website of a marketplace for resale on a second market to use it for strictly private and personal use and to copy it on any medium for display in his private space This licence is non-commercial, non-exclusive and transferable only for the resale of the NFT. What are my interdictions as a NFT collector? How long does it typically take to plan and execute an event with Artpoint?

We tailor a bespoke package to your needs that can vary based on: - Number of identified spaces (lobby, lounge, cafeteria, elevator landings, etc.) - Number of sites in which you wish to exhibit - Number of artists and works you wish to exhibit year-round. Our offer includes an artistic accompaniment service, the provision of works of art and the associated curatorial texts via a dedicated web page.

Can you provide the screens?

No specific screen is required; Artpoint works on all types of existing screens and can be managed remotely from your online space or by our team. If you don't have a screen yet, we have a solution. 3D art uses 3D software such as Blender, Cinema4D, Houdini, or video game software such as Unity to create works of art. In 3D works, artists can either arrange assets (the 'objects' in a 3D artwork or world) that they have created themselves or purchased from other creators to create elaborate environments and scenes (an approach to 3D art called 'set dressing'), or specialize in sculpting, which involves creating their own objects and assets.

AI art is a branch of generative art that uses artificial intelligence. Unlike other generative artworks, AI artworks use specific complex algorithms and models derived from machine learning. The most common methods for creating AI art today are GANs (generative adversarial networks) or proprietary prompting platforms such as ChatGPT, Sora, Midjourney, or Dall-e.

An extension of the traditional, plastic approach to collage, digital collage involves searching for and cutting out multiple images, extracting them from their original context, and recomposing them in a new arrangement to create a work of art. Artists can use their own photographs or find images on the internet.

Generative art refers to a way of creating artworks using an autonomous system. In digital art, these are usually generated from code and algorithms created by the artist, often with certain predefined parameters or systems. Although these parameters guide the final outcome of the work, generative art is generally a surprising way to create artworks, as the results are often unexpected and the number of possible outcomes can be infinite.

Digital illustrations are created using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate. As with drawing on paper, the artist uses a stylus to sketch a figure or object, usually on a tablet, to construct a scene or artistic universe. Unlike traditional drawing methods, digital illustration is much more forgiving, as mistakes can be easily corrected and drawn elements and objects can be easily moved around within a scene.

Photogrammetry is a specialized 3D technique that allows 3D objects to be created from numerous photographs taken of an object or scene from multiple angles. These photos are then compiled to determine the specific positioning, shape, and dimensions of the object in space, and then converted into a 3D model. Initially developed for engineering and urban planning, photogrammetry has become a way for artists to produce extremely accurate 3D models from real-life images.
