Aurea is an immersive digital animation that reimagines classical mythology through procedural CGI. Inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses and Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne, the work deconstructs the baroque sculpture into waves of particles and dynamic energy. Sculpted forms dissolve into molecular textures, revealing the invisible forces—light, decay, and motion—that shape both marble and matter. Aurea creates a surreal, weightless world where a digital process transforms classical iconography. In this continuous metamorphosis, myth and code converge, offering a poetic meditation on transformation, embodiment, and the fluid nature of form in the digital age.
