Bruno Bayeux is an illustrator and 2D animator based in Brazil, creating work that blends drawing, movement, and narrative. In recent years, illustration has become the core of his practice. His focus today is on building images that tell stories: scenes filled with atmosphere, character, and rhythm, often inspired by everyday life, cultural symbols, nature, and imagined worlds. Whether still or animated, his work seeks to capture a sense of emotion, movement and presence.
For over ten years, Bruno has collaborated on a variety of projects—from animated music videos and editorial illustrations to advertising, books, prints, and personal pieces that explore his own visual language. Working with MESA Company, he could collaborate in the development of solutions and creation of audiovisual contents, for companies like Google, Ambev, Bayer, Heineken and PUC. In partnership with the Domestika platform, in 2021, developed a 2D Animation course, where shows a little of him process and teach simple ways for bring drawings to life.

This illustration series explores the duality of the road: the grit required to conquer steep inclines and unpredictable terrains, and the profound beauty that rewards those who refuse to stop.
It’s a tribute to the “slow travel” movement, reminding us that the destination is merely a detail, while the true story is written in every pedal stroke along the way.
