Valentin is a senior creative technologist and visual artist. He has worked for over 10 years in the digital arts industry, as a technician for Thibault Brunet, Hayoun Kwon and Pascal Bauer, in video games (Dontnod, Darewise), virtual reality (Backlight, SoWhen?), film (The Mill, Fix studio), advertising (Multiply Studio) and theatre (LaComète!), using video game creation technologies.
He is a self-taught artist who has turned his attention to creating visuals using generative programming and real-time graphics. Valentin has exhibited at StockGallery and Espace de La Main, and has also done commission work for various clients (in video games, film and music). His work focuses on an expressive and painterly aesthetic in the generation of his visuals.

Argument with an AI :
I wanted to illustrate the strange conflict we are experiencing in the face of the almost forced arrival of the artificial intelligence revolution. On the one hand, the tool is attractive, fascinating, even endearing;
However, it conceals a potentially destructive aspect, inherent in any technological revolution, whether it be for the environment or for the upheavals that are about to take place in the employment sector, or others that have yet to be assessed.
This benign manifestation of intelligence will gradually invade the living world, with its digital processing of information, and eventually take over the whole place, in a way that is dissonant with its environment.
Today, we are completely vulnerable to the arrival of this revolution, which has been forced upon us and is clearly destined to take hold for good.
