Orosz Visual Labs, whose real name is Hugo Orosz, is a Quebecer digital artist whose works draw inspiration from the intersection of mathematics, science, and inner exploration. Through fractal art, he reveals organic universes where the patterns of nature come to life in a form that is both contemporary and timeless. Fractals—geometric shapes with a structure that is identical regardless of scale, akin to Russian dolls—constitute the fundamental language of nature and a key to understanding the mechanisms that shape the universe. Each of his creations invites contemplation, sparking curiosity and wonder by weaving a dialogue between science, spirit, and emotion. His works bring an immersive and soothing presence to places where art enriches the human experience.
Alongside his artistic activity, Hugo is a scientist working in the field of developing molecular and genetic tools that allow for a better understanding of neurobiology and brain diseases. It is his scientific curiosity and sensitivity to nature that naturally led him to explore the expression of fractals in all their poetry. His work has already been featured in several musical performances in Canada.

Source of Life is a series of video artworks based on different variations of the same combination of mathematical formulas.
