Moon Cycle is one of my more surreal and emotional pieces. I come from a small town in Germany, and I have lived in Korea for many years. It means I rarely see my friends or family. Many people around the world feel the same. We live in different cities, far from each other, often feeling disconnected. The moon, however, remains the same. Whether you are in Seoul or Berlin, you look up and see the same moon. It is a symbol of connection that transcends culture, language, and time. This series explores that idea. When you look at the moon in these artworks, I hope it brings you a quiet moment of closeness to the people you miss, and a feeling of being part of something shared, something bigger.
