Drake Cappi, also known as CarrotwithaK, is a self-taught visual artist currently based in Kirkland, Washington. His focus is on creating dreamy and aesthetically pleasing environments through blending nature with contrasting architecture. Flowers play a key role in almost all of the art he creates, both as a universal beauty, and as a way of creating a surreal split between the natural and unnatural. His works ranges from depicting surrealistic scenes of nature overtaking interior or metropolitan spaces, to reinterpreting historic works of art such as Monet's 'Waterlilies' using new artistic tools and 3D software. Throughout Drake's work is an encouragement to view the world with fresh eyes, making use of digital means to add a touch of magic to that which is familiar.
In his freelance work, Drake has worked with various musicians to create music videos and cover art, including clients such as Deorro, Chilly Gonzalez, Lil Ghost and Sokuu.

Monet in Motion: Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge
This is the second in the Monet in Motion series. My attempts at recreating some of Monet's works in 3D using Blender and applying a painterly look on top. Here you can see the base 3D render transitioning to the more impressionist style. 🍃
