Haiku:
春風吹く
(Harukaze fuku) – A spring breeze is blowing
笑いがあふれ
(Warai ga afure) – I’m bursting with laughter
花を願う
(Hana o negau) – Wishing for flowers
— Matsuo Basho, Spring, 1668
Poem:
In spring's arrival, the sakura bloom,
petals dance,
dispelling winter's gloom.
A girl in red kimono stands so still,
as the wind whispers secrets,
a gentle thrill.
Beneath the cherry blossoms' fleeting grace,
her laughter echoes,
a tender trace.
The breeze carries dreams to skies anew,
In this moment,
pure and filled with dew.
