Drawn to people and the small textures of everyday life, Demon Ego is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer whose work centers on the human body, fleeting emotions, and the moments that pass too quickly to name. Through his art, he explores the way people exist, feel, and move through the world. That curiosity began early: a horror film watched at nine years old gave way to a practice built on confronting the strange through making. Holding a master's degree in graphic design, his work has moved freely from paper and pencil through digital tools, AI, and eventually into building his own software.
What defines Demon Ego's approach is the refusal of medium as boundary, not as a stylistic position but as a philosophical one. His practice has expanded into building his own instruments: Demonic Engine, Demonic Paint, Demonic Vibes, tools that are not separate from the work but expressions of it. Demon Ego calls this vibecoding: shaping software through artistic intention rather than technical logic, asking what kind of images, what kind of motion, what kind of humanity needs to be captured, and building accordingly. The subjects don't change with the tools. The eye stays the same, everything else is open.@@

Simple, absurd, and utterly human: Demon Ego’s GIF illustrations find their subject in the fun little moments of everyday life.
They’re created using Demonic Paint, a custom drawing program built by the artist himself that uses Unicode characters as brushstrokes. Each layer can be assigned its own motion mode so that characters transform, shift color and come alive.
This tool wasn’t bought nor licensed ; it was created. Like a painter who mixes their own pigments, creative questions determined what needed to be built.
