Nibera

Slovenia

Nibera (born in 1992) is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Trained in visual communication design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, she develops a hybrid practice that combines analog photography, illustration, animation, graphic design, and digital installations. Inspired by nature, history, the visual culture of the 1970s to 1990s, and analog technologies, she has built a dreamlike and retro universe she describes as Nostalgic Environmental Magical Realism. Through experimental and surreal landscapes, she explores our relationship to the environment and the visual world around us.

Her work has been showcased in exhibitions, public installations, and new media festivals across Slovenia, North America, and Australia. Since 2020, she has created over 250 album covers, music videos, and animations for international artists, and regularly collaborates with musicians, record labels, and digital platforms. Her recent projects include Spectrozator, Parallel Worlds, and Klub K4. She shares her work with an engaged community of nearly 200,000 followers on social media.
