A doctor by training, Farid Rasulov turned to art and has developed a multifaceted practice combining large-scale painting, installations, sculpture, 3D art and animation. With his Carpet Rooms series, which was acclaimed at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009, Farid Rasulov invites us on a cultural journey to the heart of Azerbaijan. His works are generally intellectually provocative. It is no coincidence that this conceptual artist stubbornly rejects accusations that his art is complex and profound. He insists that he meant absolutely nothing by it, that he simply reproduced the mundane things he saw around him.
Rasulov's work has been exhibited in both solo and group shows internationally, in Germany, Turkey, Russia, France, the USA and his home country of Aizerbaijan.

Embark on a captivating cultural journey with our "Carpet Rooms" collection, showcasing the visionary artistry of Azerbaijani talent Farid Rasulov.
