Massimo Vendola, also known as MV NYC, is a videographer and artist specialising in special effects, born in Brooklyn, where he still lives today. Passionate about experimental visuals, Massimo particularly enjoys manipulating reality in combination with computer-generated imagery (CGI) to create unique, dreamlike perspectives and explore altered states of reality. He explores the links between art, emerging technologies, AI, 3D, LiDAR and visual effects (VFX), thereby creating dynamic digital artworks, experiences and videos on the future of creative technologies. Specialising in point cloud visualisation, 3D scanning and creative technologies, his work bridges the gap between physical spaces and digital experiences, creating immersive content that resonates with millions of people. Among his favourite subjects are railway stations, where he wanders through dynamic works of art that explore these structures transformed by techniques such as point clouds.
From ARTECHOUSE documentaries to viral brand campaigns, he has helped organisations such as NASA, Polycam, SmallRig and Intel tell their stories through cutting-edge visual experiences.

This piece captures the essence of recorded footage, experimenting with visuals that are both clear and abstract simultaneously. The result evokes the fleeting, dream-like quality of a memory, blending sharp details with an ethereal atmosphere.
