Tishk Barzanji is a visual artist based in London, UK. His work touches on modernism and the surrealist movement. His work revolves around space, color, deconstruction, breaking down boundaries, understanding the space of life in this fast moving world, and the human interactions within these spaces. Barzanji's inspirations come from his childhood in Kurdistan and his early adult years in London, where he moved in 1997. His early years in London opened his eyes, and it was there that his passion for architecture and art was born. Surrounded by the rich cultures of London and this new environment, the artist shaped his ideas, incorporating elements of architecture, fashion and socio-cultural tropes into his work. He went on to study fine art at Richmond upon Thames College, and physics at Loughborough University.
Since 2017, Barzanji has worked with a variety of clients, such as Rockefeller, The New York Times, Victoria & Albert Museum, Somerset House, NET-A-PORTER and Gucci. The artist has also provided artwork for Pharell's The Good Time Hotel, and was recently featured in British Vogue.

When attention turns into indifference or love fades away into a dark zone of discomfort, only imagination can bring us back to the glare of life. The consequences of looking for popularity is not only the chronic feeling of lonliness, but a desire to hide your face from the eyes of the universe.
Her eyes shimmering in the city lights, she pulls down the mask, "Let me tell you something - sometimes I want all limelight to shine on me and sometimes I just want to vanish underneath the deep waters".
Pay attention. It's all about paying attention. Attention is spirit. It connects you with others. It makes you ambitious. Stay ambitious. Don't worry about the audience.
A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every creature is created to be that profound secret and mystery to every other.
