Tishk Barzanji is a visual artist based in London, UK. His work touches on modernism and the surrealist movement. His work revolves around space, color, deconstruction, breaking down boundaries, understanding the space of life in this fast moving world, and the human interactions within these spaces. Barzanji's inspirations come from his childhood in Kurdistan and his early adult years in London, where he moved in 1997. His early years in London opened his eyes, and it was there that his passion for architecture and art was born. Surrounded by the rich cultures of London and this new environment, the artist shaped his ideas, incorporating elements of architecture, fashion and socio-cultural tropes into his work. He went on to study fine art at Richmond upon Thames College, and physics at Loughborough University.
Since 2017, Barzanji has worked with a variety of clients, such as Rockefeller, The New York Times, Victoria & Albert Museum, Somerset House, NET-A-PORTER and Gucci. The artist has also provided artwork for Pharell's The Good Time Hotel, and was recently featured in British Vogue.

Woodland sprites, parrots and nymphs
Waltz in time take a glimpse
Fairies hide the forest wit
Whales fly, agarics hit
Stars align, pholiotina lit
A wonder in disguise, like a slow heal
Shades of the night, with torquise and teal
Escape your body, tell them what you feel...
When the light turns green, you go.
When the light turns red, you stop.
But what do you do when the light turns blue with orange and lavender spots?
