Guli Silberstein is a London-based digital artist working since his graduation from the M.A. in Media Studies at The New School New York in 2001. Neural networks of artificial intelligence, digital video ‘glitching’ and post-production work have been enabling him to create dreamlike sequences reflecting the present day and questions of modern and future life, inspired at the same time by the tradition of art and cinema.
Silberstein's award-winning video works have been shown extensively in festivals and exhibitions, naming a few: WRO Media Art Biennale Poland, Transmediale festival Berlin, FILE São Paulo Brazil, London Short Film Festival, Bemis Center For Contemporary Arts USA, and the Royal Scottish Academy Edinburgh. His short AI videos are popular online on social media, with 150k+ followers and millions of views in total and growing.

See-side was created by using an advanced Artificial-Intelligence environment, made by feeding words into the computer engine and providing specific instructions. Many experiments and tweaks were made until reaching the right result. It's a collaboration of machine and human, merging the natural world with the technological one, in a futuristic yet almost intimate aesthetic experience. I was inspired here to create a world where the physical world of the seaside unites with a virtual world of computer-generated imagery, thinking about new worlds possible by innovative ground-breaking tech. The result is an animation existing in-between worlds, sliding along colours, seascape and abstract beings, creating an immersive experience of pistrine feeling.
