Camille Roux is a Montpellier-based artist who makes art with code. A computer engineer by training and an entrepreneur for fifteen years with Human Coders, he is first and foremost a curious person. It all began in 2021 with the desire to learn to draw: a class with an artist friend, then increasingly geometric drawings, then the iPad, before going back to the computer to code what he wanted to draw. Today he writes algorithms that turn mathematics and physics into organic patterns. Each series is a program that generates an infinite number of unique pieces: each one is drawn at random at the moment it is born, and no one, not the collector, not the platform, not the artist, knows in advance what will be created.
He started out by releasing his works as digital editions (NFTs), which found collectors around the world. His series Intricada was presented by Bright Moments in New York, London, Mexico City, Berlin, and Tokyo, among others. The Source, created with Matthieu Segret, was unanimously selected by gm.studio. In 2024, his work for Bright Moments Finale was shown in Venice during the Biennale, alongside pieces by more than sixty international artists. A member of the Generative Artists Club, an international collective of artists who share techniques and works in progress, he also enjoys introducing this world to others at major French developer conferences: he will give the opening keynote at the upcoming DevLille, after closing DevFest Toulouse and SunnyTech.

Isoline is a generative, contemplative, and hypnotic series of works. The starting idea: to play with properties that change according to zones. Here, these zones are isolines, the lines of equal distance around geometric shapes, like the contour lines of a map.
Two networks of isolines are layered on top of each other, and each zone changes its own parameters: the ink, the line thickness, the offset of the pattern, the margin. Even the pattern is made of very fine isolines. It is this layering that makes the composition rich and interesting to look at.
You watch the geometry slowly evolve, the zones glide, the inks breathe, with the aesthetic of a print on paper. It is this project that served as the foundation for the Résilience series.
The video is an exact one-minute loop: it returns to its starting point, with no cut.
