Ichraq Bouzidi is a visual artist who enjoys exploring and working in a variety of media from digital illustration to conceptual art, new media and 3d motion video. With a subtle minimalist approach, Ichraq Bouzidi creates work that resonates with images drawn from the fantastical realm of the imagination, in which the duality between the clarity of content and its ambiguity is the focal point.
By manipulating the viewer's mind to create confusion, she wants to amplify his astonishment by creating compositions or settings that generate emotions and leave traces and balances at the limit of recognition and alienation. Ichraq Bouzidi has a master's degree in architecture, focusing on interstitial spaces in fragmented cities, concentrating on the study of the Satwa district in Dubai.

Exploring gender bias in a metaphorical way, the work was conceived on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day and is a critical view of intellectual and social shortcomings, explored through the prism of a veiled woman. The crowd is an allegory of social judgments and prejudices.
