Katherine Robinson is a British-born photographer and visual artist based in Madrid, Spain. She creates her art by photographing the architecture, skylines and nature found in her neighbourhood - and other worldwide cities - and animating the photographs to create a chaotic moving landscape with dream-like elements. She gives everyone the opportunity to escape reality by twisting everyday objects, buildings and landscapes.
Windows - which conceal hundreds of hidden stories - light vs darkness, clouds and brutalist architecture are recurring themes in her work. She hopes to encourage viewers to see beauty in their everyday surroundings and look for the little details that would otherwise go unnoticed.

I love places that make me feel small – How tiny me and my problems are in the face of everything. The Empire State Building (captured from the Summit One Vanderbilt building) was one such place I’ll never forget.
