Saeko Ehara is a Kirakira (sparkling) artist and VJ based in Tokyo. Her works mainly treat the representation of Kirakira motifs such as jewels and flowers. Her inspiration comes from memories of her childhood, where Kirakira stickers, acrylic jewels, small glassworks and illustrated books of flowers form the starting point of her creations. Through her works, she would love to make the world full of Kirakira.
Saeko Ehara has exhibited and shown her work internationally, whether at concert halls and arenas in her work as a VJ, or in art shows such as CADAF New York, Crypto Art Week Asia, and REFRACTION 02, to name a few. She has exhibited in Tokyo, New York, Dubai, London, Los Angeles and more.

This work continues my series Daily Narratives (2024–), which explores everyday life through generative processes. Around 300 scenes of everyday moments were captured with my smartphone and re-generated as video using ComfyUI, a node-based interface for Stable Diffusion. The footage was further animated with TouchDesigner. The flowers in the video symbolize the fleeting beauty of daily life, holding within them a memory of light and its quiet echoes.
