Nicolas MICHEL (aka Milkorva) is a french visual artist and live performer based in Paris. Holding a master’s degree in Contemporary Art (Sorbonne, Paris), he has been specialized in and has worked with generative visual creation for several years. Collaborating with his longtime friend Valentin Fayaud, they co-founded TS/CN in 2020, a digital creative studio focused on designing audiovisual installations and performances (A/V).
Persistently exploring the connection between the abstract and the figurative through computational means, the artist redefines the role of technology at the core of the production process. The computer dialogue becomes generative and transcends the initial embryo. Milkorva’s work isn’t confined by time or exhibition space. Its constant evolution offers observers the chance to partake in a distinctive, personal, and renewable encounter.

Study of a Floral Drift is a series of videos that examines the blooming of flowers through the lens of fragility and impermanence. Each composition originates from a singular flower generated using artificial intelligence, which becomes the starting point of a continuous motion shaped by the artist’s hand.
As the form evolves in space, the flower gradually transforms, its movement tracing vibrant paths that simultaneously reveal and dissolve its original structure. These visual trajectories echo the gestures of traditional painting, reinterpreted within a digital environment.
The flower shifts between subject and medium, evoking the fluidity of pigment spreading across a surface, while allowing for moments of unpredictability that escape full artistic control.
Through this process, the work unfolds as an exploration of movement, where digital techniques give form to a poetic vision, reshaping how we perceive a natural phenomenon that often remains invisible to the human eye.
