Brindha Kumar is a Malaysian illustrator and tattoo artist based in London, whose work explores the intersection of heritage and modernity. Drawing on her Southeast Asian roots and the vibrant, multicultural world of her childhood in Malaysia, she creates bold compositions where traditional influences meet contemporary digital abstraction. Primarily inspired by nature and flowers, her artistic practice relies on the use of Adobe Illustrator. She is now enriching her approach by incorporating soft, minimalist animations, a collaborative process that infuses movement and a sense of life into her layered visual narratives.
Having worked as a freelance artist for six years, Brindha Kumar expresses her creative vision through editorial work, branding, and advertising campaigns, while also developing her tattoo artistry. Winner of the prestigious ADC Young Guns 21 award in 2023, her unique style has led to collaborations with leading global brands such as Porsche, Apple, Selfridges, Lush, Adidas, and Starbucks. Recognized by her peers, she regularly shares her expertise at international conferences and is actively committed to the future of her field by mentoring young creatives through Adobe’s mentorship program.

Spring Bloom IV continues the exploration of the changing season and the sense of renewal that comes with it. Created a year after Spring Bloom I, this piece expands on similar themes of warmth and nature. The artist wanted it to feel immersive and alive, capturing the energy and abundance that spring brings each year.
