Emilia Trevisani is a visual artist based in Italy. For several years she worked as a journalist and videomaker, and began experimenting with new media art in 2020. A self-taught path through programming language, 3D scan, AI and generative art tools has led her to find a new voice to describe the world within and around her.
Emilia has worked on a variety of projects as a generative artist, including a project by Vishal Kumaraswamy that was shortlisted at the Prix Decouverte 2023 Fondation Louis Roederer and exhibited at Rencontres Arles, two group shows and one solo show on daily.xyz by Fellowship AI, illustrations for the Rome Opera House and an immersive installation for LUSH that was exhibited at the Serendipity Arts Festival 2024.

These pieces explore the relationship between humans and nature. Blurring the lines between reality and imagination, they invite the viewer into a space where the organic and the surreal coexist.
The works are based on photogrammetric reconstructions of real plants, capturing their forms in high detail. These digital models are then processed through a generative system built in TouchDesigner.
