Caroline Defrance is a French artistic director in motion design based in Paris. Through her work, she plays with colors and photographic collages, merging different artistic and cultural trends. She collaborates with actors of art and culture who wish to have a sensitive and experimental approach to creation. From the creative concept to the staging of images, she seeks to create strong stories and graphic universes. She also likes to mix different media and play with catchy staging to achieve neat aesthetics.
Graduated from Amiens Graduate School of Art and Design in Plastic Expression and Graphic Design, Caroline Defrance worked as a Creative motion designer in the Global Communication Department of TCL Corporation (between Paris and Shenzhen), and before that, within the digital communication agency Dagobert, in Paris.

I am obsessed with the representation of the feminine and with its visual approach between suggestion and figuration. I imagine my creations as fleeting moments, fragments of memory that are more or less deconstructed. I am also seeking to answer a question: in the age of AI, how can technology help us push the boundaries of creation and visual storytelling without altering its sensitivity?
