In his work, Frederik critically examines the radical changes that technology imposes on society and our environment, sometimes on the technology side, often in the conceptual, perceptive, sensory and human domains. 

In this case, he chose to focus on insects, which create the biological basis of all terrestrial ecosystems. He wanted to pay tribute to them by working on them, their aesthetics and their vital character. He was particularly interested in beetles that generally do not live more than a year. It is therefore from this work that this work arises that presents us with beetles generated with the help of artificial intelligence and that delights lovers of art, nature and technology.
