This series was created during the time we were all at home during Covid. We could not go outside, we could not experience our cities, and many of us felt a sense of loss. As an artist, I wanted to bring back the joy of our shared spaces. I filled familiar public places with blooming flowers, allowing people to dream again. These artworks let us experience nature through the lens of our cities, creating a peaceful moment when the media and world around us felt overwhelming. The series became widely shared during the Covid period because it reminded people of beauty, hope, and calm. I wanted to blur the line between city and nature, not as opposites, but as something that could exist together in harmony.
