As an artist, Dr.Formalyst explores the psychology of visual perception and the power of abstract forms to unconsciously trigger certain emotions or moods.  Klupko is a series of Algoritmic works of art that stimulate the mind by constantly evolving complex visual patterns in unpredictable ways.  This perpetual loop of recognition/surprise is attractive, as the human brain has evolved to take pleasure in recognizing patterns and reacting strongly to surprises. There was a time when these impulses helped us survive predators in the wild ; today, they can be a source of aesthetic pleasure.
