“Silence is the lack of audible sound or presence of sounds of very low intensity.“
The Silence series explore the absence of sound in remote places around the world. Each work aims to capture the profound stillness and emotional resonance that emerge when sound fades and space takes over. Through a minimalist approach and subdued tones, the series focuses on the quiet strength of solitude and the calm hidden within desolate landscapes.
Spegel (“Mirror”) is part of The Silence series, exploring the stillness and isolation found in untouched landscapes. In this work, the frozen lake becomes a perfect mirror. A surface where reality and reflection dissolve into one another. The snow-covered trees stand in absolute calm, their forms softened by silence and distance.
