Jiaxin Wu, born in China and currently based in London, has established herself as a distinctive figure in contemporary motion design and 3D illustration. A graduate with a Master's degree in Visual Communication - Illustration from the prestigious Royal College of Art, London (2021-2023) and holder of a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from Guangdong University of Finance & Economics (2017-2021), she has developed a distinctive visual language that transcends the boundaries between narrative illustration and motion graphics. Her work is characterized by a playful and creative approach to 3D visual storytelling, where she skillfully weaves together cultural iconography and whimsical elements. Mastering advanced modeling tools such as Maxon Cinema 4D, Octane Render, and ZBrush, alongside the Adobe Creative Suite and Apple's creative applications including Procreate, Nomad, and RealityComposer, Wu builds her works around surreal and symbolic details, creating a subtle balance between humor and tension. Her career is marked by notable distinctions, including the MERIT prize at the iJungle illustration Awards (2024), finalist status at the Hiii illustration Awards (2024), and Best Ideal at the CDSA International Media Art Creativity Competition (2024).
