Daniele Sciolla is an Italian video artist and musician based in the Alps, between Italy and France. A mathematician by training and a conservatory-trained musician, he applies a scientific approach to visual creation: repetition, perspective, and the expansion of time are the tools he uses to transform everyday life into material for exploration. He uses drones and various cameras to capture fragments of diverse environments - on tour, while traveling, in the interstices of daily life - and then reconstructs them in the studio, first allowing experimentation and error to take shape before structuring and refining the work. The result: works that treat time like a microscope, stretching and layering moments until their usual meaning fades and a new interpretation emerges. His intention is to offer an enthusiastic and wonder-filled perspective on what we encounter every day.

His works have been featured on the screens of NEO SHIBUYA, an art project rotating across 90 digital screens in the heart of Shibuya, Tokyo. His musical works have also been selected as soundtracks by Vogue Paris, Versace, Nitro Circus, and Teton Gravity.
