Fluids occupy a unique place in our environment. Neither solid, nor viscous, nor completely liquid, a fluid is a substance defined by its ability to flow easily. Digital artists now have the tools to depict the movements of liquid or gaseous matter in an ultra-realistic way—something that was difficult to achieve in the past. 3D simulations, video captures of liquid ink, generative algorithms: each technique becomes a means of exploring continuous flow, endless movement.
This series explores elusive fluids, at the boundary between the visible and the intangible. The works focus on continuous flow, on materials that transform without ever settling, generating a state of relaxation and fascination. Whether it is the calm surface of a pond or the searing matter of molten plasma, fluids here become vectors of sensation, inviting the viewer to a slower, more attentive, and embodied perception, inviting them to let themselves be carried away by that which, by nature, eludes all grasp.
