Philip Clemo

Royaume-Uni

Philip Clemo is a UK-based multidisciplinary artist working in film, composition, sound design and live performance. His work, described as "hypnotizing" (The London Times) and "transcendent" (BBC), has been exhibited worldwide, including at international film festivals and V&A Museum and Eden Project in the UK. He explores perception, abstraction and places where the boundaries of familiarity begin to collapse. He uses cutting-edge technologies to capture images at scales ranging from cosmic terrains to Petri dishes and travels in very close-up with motion control at theover human bodies to imageries of Icelandic geothermal fields by gyrostabilised helicopter.

His multi-sensory Breath Project, which he presented at TEDx and TED talks in the UK and the US, explores our relationship with the diverse environments in which we live. Breath, which has received support from 5 UK universities and media industry leaders, including Vision Research and Arri, is using revolutionary technologies to capture extraordinary images and sounds of the world around us. Philip also performs on the international stage with his multi-sensory Dream Maps project, with a group of 7 musicians and interactive images.
