Gabriele Verga is a digital artist specializing in VFX, Tracking, and Motion Graphics. He specializes in the manipulation of animated Point Clouds and Photogrammetry, through which he develops immersive scenarios and new explorable virtual dimensions. His series of photogrammetric works offer immersive windows into his memories: he brings us on dynamic, oneiric rides through the streets of Italy and significant cities of his life. As the camera races through the point clouds, the viewer embarks on a cinematic journey through space and memory, the architecture around them dissolving and flashing ethereally. In his works, the material and the digital realms fade in and out of each other, exploring the juxtaposition and intermingling of these parallel realities.
Through the study of software such as Unity3D, Blender, After Effects and Houdini, he continuously explores new techniques to connect the virtual world with the physical reality. At just 26 years old, this has led him to collaborate with important companies and artists, including Porsche, Adobe, FC Inter, Nissan, Hugo Boss, Subtronics, Pull & Bear, Red Bull, Toyota and many others, ultimately showcasing his work at various events and museums in Italy, Germany, and New York.
