Considered to be one of the greatest photographers of the British landscape, Adam Burton has been practicing photography full-time since 2004 and has published several books on his work, which have indeed focused on his native country in recent years: the South-west of England. He travelled around the world to photograph large-scale natural environments. As a self-taught artist, he mainly learned by reading specialised magazines and practicing in situ, in the New Forest or along the Dorset coast. This informal training allowed him to develop a unique style and signature that are now instantly recognisable. Since 2004, his photographs have appeared in multiple newspapers and have covered more than 200 magazines.
By focusing on the actual photographic technique rather than post-capture retouching, Adam offers authentic and natural photographs of the landscapes he works on. His bold and colourful photographs are very popular, and his client list includes many prestigious organisations such as National Geographic, Ford and The AA. He is now also a qualified and fully insured drone pilot, holder of a PfCO issued by the British CAA.
